LCS 2005 Address Book Service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi I have recently deployed LCS 2005 in my virtual lab environment to test and then roll out to production. I have configured address book. And the installation and activation completed without any issues.

But when I tried to manually synchronize the address book with the contacts appearing in the LCS Management Console (or in other words LCS SQL Database), it shows me the following event in the event viewer. Which shows that the number of contacts is 0. When on the client I type the name of a user (already appearing in the LCS management console), in the find box, I couldn't find the user.

    Event Type: Information
    Event Source: Address Book Service
    Event Category: (1008)
    Event ID: 21010
    Date:  7/8/2009
    Time:  4:59:20 AM
    User:  N/A
    Computer: SRV
    Description:
    Full Address Book file created.

Path: '\\srv\addressbook\F-0c26.lsabs'  Number of contacts: 0
