CRM 4.2 / Office 2010 Issues RRS feed

  • Not sure if Office 2010 has caused the problem, but it has only happened since it was installed.

    We have a user who is using CRM 4.2 and has just installed Office 2010, who is trying to add members to a marketing list from the Advance Find option. When doing this task she is presented with an Error :

    "There is a problem communicating with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server. The server might be unavailable.

    Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support."

    We have run a trace and the Errors state that a number of files are missing :

    Error: The file '/_controls/settings.aspx' does not exist.
    Error Message: The file '/_controls/settings.aspx' does not exist.
    Error Details: The file '/_controls/settings.aspx' does not exist.

    Has anyone come accross this before - is it a known "issue" with Office 2010?
