Hello chas2003, if you recieve Automatic Updates the Malicious Software Removal Tool is already installed on your computer. You can run it by opening the Start Menu and typing "mrt.exe" without the quotes in the Run box. However, if you are using One Care there is little value to running the MSRT since they both use the same definitions and unlike One Care the MSRT only scans for a limited number of threats.Jim
