  • There is no such official list of limitations.

I did notice though that there is a problem showing parental information on associated views when opening a form.. This gives a jscript error and will prevent the list from loading.

This has been reported as a bug to MS.

Otherwise there are a few other things I noticed.

    1. You can not create a chart component on a form. It will display as a list and not as a chart.
    2. You can not utilize the parental form functionality that has become available on CRM 2013.

There are most likely alot of other things...

    • Not all entities can be used with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Tablets app.
    • Only the first five tabs or the first 75 fields from the form will be displayed (hidden components count toward these limits, because, as an example, the components might be displayed later by using Business Rules).
    • No more than 10 lists (sub-grids) can be displayed.
    • Some weaknesses such as an inability to support multiple dashboard views and forms. Users cannot switch between different forms in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Tablets client. The form order and the user’s Security Roles determine the form that will be displayed.
    • The tablet client does not display Web Resources, IFRAMEs, Bing maps, Yammer, activity feeds, or SharePoint document libraries.
    • Entity images are visible in list views and contact cards. However, entity images are not visible in the form.
    • window.alert, window.confirm, window.prompt or any other code that blocks code execution while waiting for a user’s response will not work

  • There are quite a few, you can find out what these are on Partner Source or Customer Source.

    • You are limited to the first 75 fields on a forum, including hidden fields.
    • You are limited to one Sales Dashboard for all users/roles.
    • The dashboard cannot include web resources: lists and charts only.
    • You are limited to one user per application deployment.
    • Some entities are read only.

There are more differences but these are the main ones.  Microsoft is fixing several of these in the next release.  That said, the app is pretty nice in my opinion.
