Will I free up hd space on the WHS if I remove a computer? RRS feed

    If I remove a computer from the backups will it also delete the space in the pool? Does it do this automatically or will it do it on the next cleanup?

    It should but doesn't clean up some computers. Had some major computer problems on the WHS computer and ended up installing WHS again. Tried to reinstall but something was hosed so ended up doing a new install. A pain but everything working properly now. I started the long task of backing up computers now. It will take days but at least it is working correctly.

    Does it automagically on the cleanup.  You can run the cleanup manually from the console.
