    Synctoy Help system tells me that Synctoy can perform five actions on folder pairs, but only three are listed. What happened to Subscribe and Combine?

    Synctoy 2.0 beta, version 2.0.0.0

    Hi -

    Sorry - we have no plans currently to bring the Combine option back. You could looking into using the Contribute scenario to ensure that no deletes happen.

    Those two actions have been removed for SyncToy 2.0. We will ensure that we update the Help notes with this information when we release.

    I alway use Combine.  Why was it eliminated?

    Why why why was Combine eliminated from Synctoy?

    Imagine this scenario:  My dumb colleague accidentally deletes 15 important files and then syncs our two machines.  With normal sync, those files are also deleted on my machine, which I don't want to ever happen.  With Combine, no matter what my dumb colleague does, he can't destroy any files on my machine because Combine never deletes.

    Am I mistaken?
