Microsoft Fix-it problem

  My optical drive stopped being recognized by Windows 7, so I ran Fix-It. Now the computer sees my Magic Jack phone connection as the optical drive! How do I undo this? I don't want to do a system restore, because i'm in the middle of a class and have a lot of writing assignments in progress that I don't want to chance losing.
