Microsoft exam 70-646 comparison to 70-647

I just finished taking a college course for the Microsoft 70-646 (Win Srv 2008) and I was curious on how similar the subject matter would be for 70-647 (Win Srv 2008 R2)?

Would it be better to take the exam for 70-647 since it is more current?

I'm hoping that someone who has taken both exams would be able to comment on this.

These two exams are part of larger certifications for MCITP. The two certs are Server Engineer and Server Administrator. I suggest visiting the Microsoft Certification page to see the full details of differences between the two exams.
