Hi Ravi,
1) you don't need to have domain admin level.
2) Correct this is the MSCRM_CONFIG and ORG_MSCRM
3) I was referring to the above 1) and 2) items because they require admin permissions to perform tasks which only admin level can do.
Hope this helps

Hello Ravi,
Duplicated threads are not allowed and in case you will do new posts with the same subject and/or content I will anyway merge to the same thread.
From my side I can suggest recheck RU details. In case it would not be enough you should contact Microsoft Support for additional details.

Hi Ravi,
You need the following permissions for the account that is running the RU installer:
- Local admin permissions on the server
- Permissions on the database server to create, modify and delete on CRM databases (normally this would be sys admin)
The RU updates local binaries and updates the databases at many levels so you need admin levels to perform those tasks.

do you mean databases 1) MSCRM_CONFIG & 2) Org_MSCRM ?
do I need to be db_owner for these database?.
3)you mentioned "The RU updates local binaries and updates the databases at many levels so you need admin levels to perform those tasks."
