Demo Image SQL Server Reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • In the Demo image of Project Server there are 2 SSRS Reports that are not included in the SSRS Report Pack released last year - the Project List and the associated Project Report. Does anyone know how I can get hold of these for a customer who has installed the Report Pack but is disappointed that these reports are not included. We demonstrated Project Server to them and the Project Report Dashboard really appealed to them.

  • Hi Dominic,

Not sure if the actual source for those reports are available, but you should be able to view how the 'missing' reports were built by opening them in the ReportServer site of the demo image and choosing edit shouldn't you? If there are references to data sources or sprocs, those can be derived also.  I know the 2007 image has the correct software installed to enable you to do this.

This should certainly help you get most of the way there in implementing the reports for your customer.

  • Hello Dominic

I would contact your training vendor and see if you can take a peek at the Project Server 2007 training database used for project server training. I believe those reports might be found there.
