Does your OCS validation run without errors? If not, address the errors there and that will likely fix BPA run issues.

Are you Using Vista to open a Scan?
I experience the same issue when using BPA on Vista when opening a scan it hangs completely
Use the BPA on the OCS Server itself that will work
I was able to copy the file to the directory where scans are stored and I can open it that way as it shows up on the main screen. The option to import a scan just hangs but since I found a work around then I'm good.
