Dear customer,
Thank you for your interest in Microsoft Fix it Center (beta). To help us further troubleshoot the problem, I'd need some information.
I suppose you got the error when running the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Do you get the same error when running another troubleshooter, such as the Windows Update troubleshooter?

@dipsogirl
I'd need more information from you to better understand your case.
1. Can you please give me the exact display message (incl. title, and detailed text) when you encountered the issue?
2. Can you tell me the exact name(s) of the troubleshooter(s) you attempted to run when the issue was encountered?
3. Can the problem be reproduced at will? Does the problem persist after restarting Windows?
4. Which version and service pack of Windows do you run the Fix it Center tool on (e.g. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7)? You can get at that information with these steps:
a. click on the Start button to get the Start menu.
b. right click on the "Computer" entry on the Start menu and select "Properties".
c. read off the Windows information from the window shown.
5. (For advanced users only) If your computer runs on Windows Vista or Windows 7, call out any error you see in the Event Viewer under "Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Windows\Diagnosis-Scripted\Operational".
6. Does uninstalling and re-installing the Fix it Center tool resolve the problem?

Since we have not received an answer in 2 months does this mean there is no answer? Is Mats_Run.winfilefolder.exe another MS program that does not work along with MS support?Sunday, May 15, 2011 11:16 PM

Kona Girl I think you are right. What a frigging joke MS support is. Twice been on a phone call for over 4 hours with tech support and ended up having to scrap everything they did and/or suggested. And I hate, loathe, despise Windows 7 ridiculous supposed friendly environment.Tuesday, June 21, 2011 2:45 AM
