Hi,
We have two physical offices ( A & B). Office A is with separate domain controller running on one machine and one file server on other machine in same office A. Office B is with separate domain controller and on the same machine ( hardware) file server
is running. Both domain controller is win 2008 standard R2. File server of office A is win 2003 Std R2.
Next week office B closing and we have to move all user / client machine to office A with server.
Office B, domain controller and file server is on single machine. we want to add this file server to office A domain controller as member of domain. But I am not sure whether file/folder permission which was set for domain of office B will be removed or
not. And files/folder will be accessible for user of office A.
Also presently there is trust relation ship is available between office A domain controller and office B domain controller.
so please guide on this how this could be possible.
