  • Use a file or image sharing service.  Skydrive.live.com is one of the friendlier no-cost ones.

  • This is just so painful! why cant we simply insert a picture or attach file as could before in NNTP service via Outlook express. This is not working for me.

  • Hmm, never seen an NNTP message with an image, wonder how that works.  But messages in these forums use HTML.  Just type in the markup with the HTML editor:

    <img src="http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif"/>

    Produces:

    A good place to find help on HTML.

  • I am talking about outlook express the newsgroups, where you can take news groups offline and add attachments/pic etc to clarify the issue.
    The picture you included is on the web. How can you simply insert a pic from you pc or shared drive to provide spcifics on the issue encountered?

  • I agree, I think this is pretty important to have (other forum software already does this).  Screenshots and log files are very important to troubleshooting hardware issues.

    Not everyone is experienced enough to host a file somewhere.  And many folks wouldn't want to link to their personal skydrive account or other website.

    I think setting some reasonable file size limits, and having them only accessible for a certain period of time, would help address some of the concerns regarding space.
