Cannot enable the Live OneCare firewall. RRS feed

  • Live OneCare has been working fine until I recently tried changing some of the permissions.  Now I cannot enable the firewall or change any of the settings back to what they were.  I have tried two of the solutions I found in the on-line information such as clearing the logs in RtBackup and the OneCare Firewall Repair utility.  Nothing has corrected the problem.  Also, at this same time my ACT by Sage software can no longer see my contact databases.  Short of rcovering the whole hard drive is there anything else I can do to fisx this problem?
