OneCare Account expired, restore tool will not restore or let me delete backup - external drive now useless. Very unhappy MS customer RRS feed

  • I used onecare and trusted the MS brand. I managed to restore most of my files using the restore tool - but now that will not let me in - account expired. I now have another backup tool (not MS after my previous experience) but my external hardrive is now full of backed up onecare files that I cannot delete.

    Please help me clear my backup drive. I bought it just for that purpose. I now have a new computer and I will be not be best pleased if anything goes wrong and I have not been able to backup my extensive music library. I will also be unhappy if I have to bin the external hard drive and fork out for another
