a direct phone number to contact a activation specialist about my key RRS feed

  • other then the auto number is there another number to call that when I speak with a someone they will not hang up on me?

  • If you call the Activation phone number provided in the Activate by Phone window, when the call gets answered, either select the option to talk to a live Activation Rep or, if there is no option, don't enter or say anything into the phone, this should force the automatic phone prompt to transfer you to a Live Rep.

  • Yes I been calling that number and when the rep's ask me for my install id they always hang up on me.

  • By install id you probably mean the support person asked for the Product ID.  That is located at the very bottom of the System Properties page.  Click on Start, right click on Computer, select Properties from the context menu.  The Product ID is NOT the 25 character product key that is on the label on your computer.
