CRM and Great Plains Integrations RRS feed

  • Question

  • How well does the out of the box installs of Microsoft CRM and Great Plains integrate with each other?

We are currently using GP 7.5 but will soon be upgrading to GP 2010.  Once completed we will be looking at replacing an old customized CRM application and are considering MS CRM.  We need a CRM that can take orders and push them through to Great Plains for invoicing.

Can someone please point me to some resources on specifically integrating Dynamics CRM and Great Plains?

    Thank you,

    Pat B

  • There is a Microsoft Adapter that you can use for the integration.

Having said that, Scribe is worth checking out.  You'll most likely get all of the integration you expect and then some with the product and it is one of the most widely used products for GP & CRM integration in the marketplace today.  Just so you know, I am not a reseller of the product, not affiliated with the company and receive no benefit from Scribe for mentioning this product to you.

  • CozyRoc have just released SSIS+ 1.6 library. This is a third-party library with components, which extend SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The new library includes adapters for both Dynamics CRM and Dynamics GP 2010 among many other useful features. You can test and evaluate  for as long as you need from Visual Studio (BIDS). The library is available for download from here.
