  • Hi!

How can I get this new version?

    Hi Randor

My best guess is that it will automatically download to your computer on Monday. At least that was the last I heard from the beta newsgroup.

The updates are rolling out now but it could be 24 hours before everyone is updated.

  • One of my machines in my circle was updated ok, but the hub is still showing version 1.0.2350.10 and is showing at risk.  Is there someplace where I can find the update and attempt to install it manually, or is there a log that I can access to see the error.  None of the "help" links take me anywhere.

  • If you view the hub machine that shows at risk, what actions does it present you as needing to take place?

There is no downloadable update to run manually. You can only click on Check for Updates from within OneCare.

If it failed to update, then the typical update troubleshooting applies-

You can also contact support and file a bug if the update failed.

http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=onecarev2 -use the "Get More Help" link in the lower right of the page to contact support via email.

See the Bug Submission Guide - http://connect.microsoft.com/content/content.aspx?ContentID=3480&SiteID=168 - for details on how to create and submit the Support Log zip file with your bug.

  • Hi!

The new version installed correctly today.

And, at last, this message no longer appears in the event log during logon:

OneCare Firewall failed while executing the following method: GetPolicy. Error Code: 0x8007007A, Error Message: The data area passed to a system call is too small.

    I like Windows Live OneCare.

I hope to get the final version soon.

    Merci beaucoup!
