I want to ask a question about indexing, where should i post that? RRS feed

    The question is does windows benefit from indexing even once the service is turned off, referencing the index data even if the data is not being expanded at that time. I am turning indexing on at night and off during the day through task scheduler, wondering if it is doing what i think it is.
