  • Question

  • Hi All

Is running 2 instances of outlook  one in English and the other in Japaneese on one machine supported by Microsoft and does this affect tracking into CRM.

    Has anyone experienced this please.

    Kind Regards

    Alex

  • In which case I suggest you discourage the user who wants to run two instances of outlook.

    Hope that helps.

  • I've never seen anyone do this.

I don't really follow why anyone would want to do it.

    .

I don't see why it would make much difference.

I would think it's just like the user is on 2 machines.

Each instance of outlook should have it's own synchronization.

Why not try it and see what happens with some test data?

If it works for a basic test then I would think you're OK.

  • On one instance is synchronized with CRM and there seams to be an issue affecting the Outlook for CRM tracking functionality where sometimes the emails track and some times an error message pops up saying " The record requested was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it"
