Hello,
I would like to know why i encountered the following when I tried to sign in to my hotmail as usual:
1) step one: go to hotmail.com
2) under sign-in page, type my hotmail account and password as usual
3) I was not brought to my inbox, but instead, it updated the screen with the sign-in page again, with the red highlighted text above the sign in box, saying: "You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect address or password." - but actually
this is my first trial to sign in, and I believe I typed my password correctly.
4) I redid the sign in process, and this time I can sign in successfully.
My question is, does this mean something wrong with my hotmail account? I am concerned it might be under attack by some third party. for security concern I brought this issue up. Hope to get your kindly reply. thanks a lot in advance.
