Email Router: CRM ONline is greyed out? RRS feed

  • I have come to an existing 2011 Email Router which is situated on a server with CRM 2011 on it.

    That CRM is not used any more, we now use Online with a Windows Live ID.

    I clicked on the Deployment tab to set up the online server but it is greyed out.  I can only select the "my company" and "An onlne service provider" options.

    Any ideas why I can't set up Online?

  • Have uninstalled.

    The Router won't install until after a server reboot which is scheduled for later tonight.  I will report back once I get it reinstalled.

    Seems strange that the "CRM Online" option being greyed out is not [well] documented.  Surely "something" is greying it out and someone knows what that something is!

  • And here is another annoyance.

    I have now commented with a different Live ID because I logged into CRM with my other Live ID and that took over my PC.  Grrrrrrrrrr!
