I have the same problem and can at least tell you how it has arisen in my case. I ordered a replacement laptop keyboard, was disappointed to find I had been supplied with a US one instead of UK, but installed it anyway and swapped a few keys around and took the £ from the UK one. Everything was fine apart from the fact that my backslash key (on my HP laptop keyboard) is displaying a hash.Thursday, February 11, 2010 11:30 PM
