      It depends on your need. MVC framework uses the same asp.net framework. Just handling the request in an other way. For example, asp.net will request for a page or a resource, mvc instead will request for a result of an action. More detail, in asp.net, we requests for a aspx page where in mvc, we request something lik, index action of home controller. Just an action of a controller class. That will return a view or a string or anything written there... Using mvc, we can have testable applications. That is also an advanctage.
