CRM: Access to Records RRS feed

  • We are running Microsoft Dynamics CRM December 2012 Service Update.  We have four users all with System Administrator security roles set.  However, some cannot see Account, Contact, and Opportunity records belonging to other System Administrators.

    Any thoughts on what we set up incorrectly?

    Check whether these users are having access to read privileges with the Account, Contact and Opportunity. This can be configured through Securtiy section in CRM.

  • Hi Jay,

    That sounds odd since the Sysadmin role have "access to all areas" so to speak. Have you seen any pattern in this like it's user one's owned accounts that's invisible to user three at all times or is it completely random?
