    Is there a way to allow my directv dvr to playback more than just the mpeg2 videos on my server? Its not worth batch transcoding them all but if something could transcode them on the fly....that would be nice.

    You could look at something like tversity.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
