Unable to search in crm without adding * before the keyword RRS feed

    Hello. I am trying to search a particular account in CRM. but when i wrote the keyword in the search box on the crmgrid it retrieves no result. But when i add a "*" before the keyword it retrieves the required result. Can anyone please help me how i can avoid adding this * before the keyword. Any help would be greatly appreciated ..

    Hi,

    If you know the EXACT title of the account you could type it without any * and the search result provides you the account/s. If you want to type a part of the title then you should use * before the phrase. Example: Account name= "ABCD EFGH IJK". If you search "abc" or "ijk" the result is none! If you search "ABCD EFGH IJK" you have one result. If you search "*abc" or "*efg" you have one result.

    AFAIK there is no way to eliminate this behavior.
