Backup 2 computers with one external hard drive RRS feed

    Hello,

    I set up Windows Live OneCare on my desktop and my wife's. I am the "Hub" computer. My wife's computer and I can easilly share the 3 printers we have. We both use the same network name and I can "see" her computer.  She has a Maxtor External Hard Drive. She can backup to it with OneCare. When I try to backup to that drive I can't even "see" the hard drive. I thought I could backup both computers on one drive. Is there a way to do it?

    You have to Share the drive from her computer so that you have full read/write access on the drive. Then you can configure your backup to use that drive.
