Annoying Validation RRS feed

  • Question

  • ok heres my info and stuff... I've had this copy validated as of yesturday and I went to reinstall nForce 4 drivers and my PC didnt work after that.. so I decided to repair windows using the XP CD in DOS, and that fixed that problem but it generated another. It then said that due to significant changes made to my computer I have to revalidate my windows. It IS installed on 2 PCs with the same key, however its been working for years and years and years, so I dont see how it could change now. Another thing is that my auto-updater on my task bar works fine, but the auto updater on microsoft.com dosent and want me to buy another key.... heeeelll no. I also phoned and the lady was NO help whatsoever, she said that I have to buy more stuff to make things work. Anyways, I've had this problem before and I waited like a day or something then it validated for some reason... any help at all would be much appreciated.

  • lithium9mm,

Looks like you need to re-activate. Have you already attempted to re-activate? was there any windows that told you as such? Phone activation??
