XP 64 to Windows 7 32 or 64 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have Windows XP Pro 64 and I want to upgrade to Windows 7 64.  If after I upgrade to 64 bit and I change my mind, can I reload the same Windows 7 as 32 bit or do I need to purchase another version?

  • Yes you can downgrade if ever neccessary, though if you purchased an upgrade version you will have to re-install XP in order to use it, else it won't recognize the current o.s. and you'll keep getting that incompatible error. Oh and regardless of if it's a full or upgrade version you will have to call the product activation center with your product key to get them to activate it manually, Cause the liscense will say it's invalid the second time you use it with the automated system.
