I am not receiving email alerts for replies to threads that I set alerts on RRS feed

    I am setup to receive email alerts from 'Microsoft" forums and "TechNet" forums, but I am not receiving email alerts for replies to threads that I have set alerts on.  I checked my settings and everything looks correct and I have not changed anything since I started using the forums.  I have received alerts in the past without any issues.  Is this a new temporary problem?  Is it something Microsoft is aware of and working on or am I all alone in the "Alert" universe?

    Have you gone to your My Settings and entered in an email address? Have you received the convirmation email that you have validated yet? We recently updated our alerts infrastructure and you should be sure you have established your email.

    I got an email alert for your reply.  On Aug 6 I did not recieve an alert for a reply to a question that I posted earlier on Aug 6.  I have not made any changes at all and yet I got an alert for your reply.  I guess I'll just have to see how if it continues to work.

    Any of you Microsoft employees have an idea on this yet?  I posted a new question on 10/6/2010 to which I have had seven (7) replies and I did not receive any email messages for those replies.

    I had been receiving alerts for the past 2 years until your recent update.  I have reconfigured my email alerts and hopefully all is now well.  I'll mark an answer when is receive an alert.  Thank you.
