you do not have permissions to update Windows XP RRS feed

  • I am attempting to install updates on a machine for a client and am unable to, here is the message it gives me "you do not have permissions to update Windows XP."  I am logged in as the local admin, dumbfounded!!!  I ran the diagnostics tool I see so frequently talked about.  Here are the results:

    Are you logged in using the Administrator profile to the local machine or did the customer give your profile (jason) administrative rights?
