    General discussion

  • I recently had a virus in my laptop and while removing the virus it also removed my windows, I paid for my windows in full and am not able to locate the card to reset. My question is does your company keep this information so I may restart windows?

  • Hi,

Where did you buy your windows? What did you receive?

I know a few options e.g. you could have bought a "box" which contained a key and install media. Then you should have everything to recover and if you lost that, then I think that you cannot get it again. If it was some kind of online thing where you received everything in an electronic way, then the vendor might give you everything again and you should ask the vendor directly.

So if you bought Windows as Download from the microsoft store, you might want to look at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/products/store to see if you find everything there.

    With kind regards,

    Konrad

  • I think you'll have to contact the vendor or license provider. You can ask general windows questions over here.
