Problem exporting records... RRS feed

  • I have a user that is trying to export records to Excel, but when she clicks the "Export to Excel" button, nothing happens. I checked her security role, and the option for Export to Excel is ticked, and I have no problem doing it. Is this a CRM issue or a computer issue?

  • Have you tried changing your Explorer. Try to use IE instead of Chrome

  • They are using IE10, they aren't using 11 because of an issue with a web resource we use. Just to be sure, if she didn't have the permissions in her security role set to be able to export to Excel, she wouldn't see the button, correct?

  • Export to Excel button will be disabled if there is no permission.

  • You can try to export with the same user on a different client machine, if it did not work then try on your original machine (having the error) with another user (administrator).

    This way you can identify if it is CRM or IE issue.
