  • Just a lateral thought, Why cant you edit profile and change the display name? Will that work out for you?

  • I tried already at account creation and now I tried again.
    It gives me:

Display name already in use. Choose other display name.

  • Hi,

Your best bet will be to reach out to the forums team directly by sending an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com and ask them. Make sure you include links to both profiles.

EDIT: Skip this suggestion until you try Dave's suggestion first.
