Prep Schema: Protokolls OK, LDAP Empty! RRS feed

  • Greetings,

     

    we try to deploy the Standard Server and have completet the complete Wizard-Setup without Error but got no working OCS. We located the problem, that the AD Users had no SIP Options in their Profiles to activate.

    Reading all Forums, checking domainstates, versions, registriy entries all is fine. We then deployed on command line.

    The effect we are getting is, that also with LCSCMD.Exe and the schema.ldf, prepschema runs fine but cheking the LDAP, no entries are made like described in the ADGuide. Repeating the steps, the commandline states that "entries are already existing" - but nothing there when we manually check LDAP.

     

    Anyone have a idea? We have a plain Domain with one AD-Server.

    we need some more information on this issue.

    You wrote "that the AD Users had no SIP Options in their Profiles to activate". I suppose you mean there was no "Communications" Tab in the Users properties?

     

    Did you also install the Standard Edition Server Software after preparing the AD ?

    Where did you try to enable / configure the SIP settings ( On the DC itself or did you open the ADUC Management console on the OCS server ) ? 

     

    After AD preparation :

     

    Were the groups created in AD ?

    What entries are not available in AD , please specify.

     

     

    Could you provide us the Deployment Logs eventually ?
