    Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise will not print to my HP Envy 7640 printer. Printer drivers are current with no updates available. All other software prints fine including Office 2013 (all products), notepad, Acrobat, Chrome, IE11, VS2008, VS2013, VS2015, etc...  

    Running on Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1809, installed 4/26/2019, OS Build 17763.529, 64-bit operating system

    To created the problem:

    Launch VS 2017

    select File, New, Project

    select Visual C#, Web, ASP.NET Core Web Application, named WebApplication1

    select Empty,    .Net Core,   ASP.NET Core 2.1 
    unselect Configure for HTTPS            click OK

    Click Startup.cs    to open file

    ctrl + P
    or
    select File, Print
    creates the following error...

    dialog box title     Microsoft Visual Studio
    error message      PrintTicket provider failed to convert PrintTicket to DEVMODE. Win32 error -2147221164
