Question about validation of MS Office product 03 to 07 RRS feed

  •

I recently purchased a new laptop.  Laptop came with XP Pro and without Office of any sort.  I installed a valid/genuine copy of 2003 Office on this PC after turning it on.  Loaded perfectly from what I understood and viewed.

I then purchased a genuine copy of Office 2007 update version for XP from a national office supply retailer, installed it and the pC runs fine and works perfectly in Office 2007.  However, when I attempt to download any templates I get an error that my copy is not vaild.  Not my 2007 copy, but my Office 2003.  When I followed MS directions on how to vailidate and attempt to do so, I get a message that my copy of Office currently running is genuine and valid.

So, how do I validate/make genuine/etc. the copy of the previous version?  Since I purchased an upgrade for 2003, I cannot surely delete that file?

Please provide any any assistance possible.  All assistance greatly appreciated, as I am need of a few templates on this pC.

I ran the MS Office Geniuine Diagnostic Tool and this is what was reported:
