Office 2007 Enterprise Genuine Validation With Win 7

Question
-
I have Office 2007 Enterprise that has been working without issues. After I installed Win 7 Enterprise RTM, I started getting
"Microsoft Office is Not Genuine errors." I ran the diagnostic test program and it showed that there was an issue.
I edited the registry and removed the appropriate registry entries. When I re-opend any Office product, I got the prompt to enter the key. After I entered the key, I ran the diagnosting test program and it completed with out errors and showed I had a valid copy of Office 2007.
The problem is the next day, I got the same error, edited the registry, entered the key, and everthing was OK again. The next day, the problem resurfaced - just like Groundhog Day.
This issue only started after I installed Windows 7 Enterprise edition RTM. Has anyone else seen this problem? Do you have suggestions on what to try next? I am running out of ideas........- Changed type Carey FrischMVP Wednesday, October 14, 2009 10:11 PM Comment -> Question

Hello AJSJR,
OGA Data-->
Office Status: 103 Blocked VLK
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 103 Blocked VLK
OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
Signed By: Microsoft
The report says you have a Blocked VLK, which means that (a) your computer has a Volume Licensing edition of Office Enterprise 2007 installed, and that (b) a Blocked Volume Licensing Key (VLK) was used to install it. A "blocked" VLK is one that was issued by Microsoft to a business, educational institution, or governmental agency for their exclusive use in accordance with a Volume Licensing Agreement. (Note that such use does NOT allow the resale of such VLKs.) However, because the VLK may have been reported lost, stolen, or compromised to the internet by the original keyholder, or because the Volume Licensing Agreement has expired, Microsoft has blocked the VLK from further use.
If you are an individual consumer, you should never have been sold Volume Licensing materials such as a VL CD, and you certainly should not have received a Blocked Product Key.
Your first course of action is to confront your seller with this information and demand either a full refund or to receive the genuine software you paid for.
If the seller refuses to help, please file a piracy report at www.microsoft.com/piracy. Also, depending upon whether you received "high quality" counterfeit maerials, you may qualify for the Office Complimentary Offer r for the ffice Genuine Advantage discounted offer. Please see the FAQ here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC
If your use of this Volume Licensing edition of Office Enterprise 2007 is in association with an organization that has a Volume Licensing Agreement, then please contact the IT support staff of the organization for further assistance.
One other possibility is that at one time your computer did have a Genuine installation of Office installed, but for some reason it was replaced with the current installation which is nongenuine. This could have happened if you took your computer to a repair shop and they reinstalled Windows and/or some or all of your programs. You Get Genuine once again by uninstalling the current nongenuine installation of Office and using your Genuine Microsoft hologrammed Office installation CDs, along with the genuine Product Key found on your Office Edition's Certificate of Authenticity, to put back the genuine installation of Office you may have already had on the computer.
Thank you,

Your answer has a couple of problems. Please read the original post.
This is not actually a blocked VLK. This is on one of my work computers and I know that this is a valid license. . I have the same key on other systems and do not get an error. When I repace the key on the failing notebook and rerun the Genuine Advantage Diagnostics, I get a validation statue of "100 Genuine. " After some period of time (more than 5 hours), I get a ""Microsoft Office is Not Genuine" message and when I rerun the Genuine Advantage Diagnostics I get the 103 Blocked VLK message.
This only started happening immediatly after I installed Win 7 Enterprise RTM.
Why is the status changing from 100 to 103 without any changes to the notebook? If you want to give me a method of contacting you off-line, I can give you more information. This is a valid license with more than 50K users and if is being flagged erroniously.Thursday, October 15, 2009 9:01 PM
