Can we import the explorted unmanaged solution from online crm2013 to on premise crm 2013 ? RRS feed

    Hi All,

    Can we import the exported unmanaged solution from online crm2013 to on premise crm 2013 ? If yes , will we have to match the version of both please let me know.

    If you export a solution from CRM Online it will prompt which version you want to target, if 6.0 (without SP1) or 6.1 (with SP1) and if you select 6.0 it will check if the components are compatible with 6.0, otherwise it will not export it.

    So normally:

    if the versions are the same no problem

    if the target is higher than the source no problem

    if the source is higher than the target you need to export to 6.0

    Hi Guido Preite,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    I have exported solution from online and trying to import it on onprimise, showing this below attached error. Kindly let me know the steps what i have to do to import the solution completely. Thanks :)

    On-line version = Microsoft Dynamics CRM online Spring '14 (6.1.1.1630)(DB 6.1.1.1610)

    On-premise Version = Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 (6.0.1.61)(DB6.0.1.61)
