There is something here I am not seeing, or you have a very strange case.I can only suggest that you try telephone activation of the COA Key, and then see if they can fix things there.telephone activation.
Click on the Start button
in the Search box, type
SLUI 4
and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you.If they can’t help, then try WGA Support and point them at this thread, so that you don’t have to go through everything again.WGA Support can be found here-North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4
Outside North America:

The indications are that your Licensing Store is corrupted. Please try the below steps to recreate the Store with the correct data.
1) Open an Internet Browser window.
2) Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar.
3) Find the file CMD.exe
4) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'
5) Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
6) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
7) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
8) Type: cd %windir%\system32
9) Type: net start slsvc
10) Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
11) Restart your computer twice.
12) You may be required to enter the Product Key and/or Activate.

Hi Noel
Thanks for the help and coming back to me.
I did the whole process as you said and nothing changed so I started again and when I do step 7 and push enter this is the message I get “A duplicate file name exists or the file cannot be found.”
Please help
Debbie
debbieThursday, October 20, 2011 7:27 PM -
That is completely to be expected, since the filename was created teh first time you ran the procedure, and cannot be overwritten without extra privileges.
Please post your new MGADiag report.

That is completely to be expected, since the filename was created teh first time you ran the procedure, and cannot be overwritten without extra privileges.
Each time you re-try those steps, you need to change step #7 from "Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar" to "Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar2" or "Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar3" or so on.
But as Noel says, you should post another Diagnostic Report first so we can see if anything has changed.

Did the system not ask you to enter a Product Key?
It seems that the OS is unable to find the proper licenses for the OEM_SLP Key in use, so you need to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker on the machine's case - use the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System Properties page.

debbieNope – the Key is still the sameWhat are the last five characters of the Key you are entering? (NOT the whole Key – or it may get blocked)It’s no use using one that you found with a programmatic tool like Belarc or Magical JellyBean. – all they will find is the existing manufacturer’s Key.You MUST use the one from the COA sticker.

debbieThe Key you posted is the OEM Key that is used by the manufacturer – not the one from your COA sticker (which IS – as I said - on the machine’s case). You need to use the one from the sticker.

OK _ I take that back....
There's something very screwy going on here!
PLEASE edit out your Key from that last post, as it appears to be a proper COA Key, but for whatever reason your system is not seeing it as such.
You then need to repeat the recreation of the licensing store - I've modified the instructions so that they should work
Please try the below steps to recreate the Store with the correct data.
1) Click on Start, then All Programs, then Accessories3) Right-click on the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'
4) You should have a Window coming up, with a prompt that reads 'C:\Windows\System32'
5) Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
6) Type:cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
7) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar6
8) Type: cd %windir%\system32
9) Type: net start slsvc
10) Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
11) Restart your computer twice.
12) You may be required to enter the Product Key and/or Activate.

Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed SlothMe again :)I think I may see what the problem is – for what version and edition of Windows is the computer licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case?It *should* be Vista Business. If it’s anything else, then you have a problem – or you upgraded to Business edition somehow, and need to use the Key from that upgrade, not the Key from the COA sticker.

debbieOdd – all that is correct, but the Key is being declared as an OEM_SLP key.Let’s try this....Change the Key to this one (which is the Acer OEM_SLP Key for Business)2TJTJ-C72D7-7BCYH-FV3HT-JGD4Fand see what happens,It **may** self-activate, or it may complain that activation is denied. If it self-activates, then fine. – post another MGADiag report. If activation is denied, change the Key back to the one on the sticker, and post another MGADiag report.

debbieThis is silly – there must be file corruption somewhere that isn’t showing in the report, for some reason.type in the Search box
CMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
Select Run as Administrator
- the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
At the Command prompt, type
CHKDSK C: /R
and hit the Enter key
You will be told that the drive is locked, and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot. The chkdsk will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!
After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFC
SFC -System File Checker - Instructions
Click on the Start button
type in the Search box
CMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
Select Run as Administrator
- the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
At the Command prompt, type
SFC /SCANNOW
and hit the Enter key
Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.
run another MGADiag report, and post the results.
