    Today I ran the Fix it for not detecting cd/dvd and it failed to fix the problem.  Normally I reboot if fix it fails and the reboot fixes the problem.  Today this did not happen.  Each time I use fix it I went through the results reporting that the fix it did not fix the problem and that I needed information to workup and fix the problem.  Each time I went to the fix it center online after logon and noticed that it showed that I last used fix it on Dec 21 and it did not report the results from today after multiple attempts to fix the undetected optical drive. 

     

    How come the failure results are not being updated on the Microsoft Fix it Center Online?
