Go to start - control panel - add and remove programs . scroll down through the apps and locate theframework files that are being updated . remove them by clicking on the remove tab. remove in order
starting with the highest update.(ex. remove sp2 3.5 before sp2 2.0) . when they are removed close all tabs and do a disk cleanup. (start - all programs - accessories - system tools - clean up ).Shut
Down (not restart)and let the updates install. Power the computer back on and check for a windows update by pressing (Start - all programs - Windows Update ).
