Why can't I dial a phone number from a meeting invitation? RRS feed

    This is absolutly critical for people who join conference calls while driving, i.e. a lot of people.  Blackberry has had this capability since 2004. I have an HTC Fuze running mobile 6.1.

    P.S. This website said that it found questions similar to mine and that links will appear in a new window.  A new window didn't appear.

    Thanks for the feedback. On my BlackJackII Windows Mobile 6.1 device from within a meeting invitation, I can click on the contact and call and I can also click on the conference call number from meeting "location" and dial directly into the meeting from my device. I'm running Outlook on my device. Let us know if you need more information or would like to further discuss. This thread stays open for viewing and additional comments even though I'm marking this as answered for our team's tracking purposes.

    Phone numbers that are included in meeting requests show up fine on my HTC Fuze.  If the phone numbers in your meeting requests are not "clickable" perhaps you need to check the email account settings for your email account as follows:


    Open up the messaging application on your HTC Fuze, tap Menu > Tools > Options > select your email account
    Then select "Download size settings" and under Message format, make sure HTML is selected and not Plain Text
