Custom Scan displays "Add SourceSafe Database Wizard" RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I try to do a "Custom Scan" from Oncare version: 2.5.2900.24, it displays the "Add SourceSafe Database Wizard" and when I cancel the dialog it just pops up again. I have to end the task to get the wizard to go away.

The quick and full scans run properly.

It is my software development box and I have VS2005, VS2008, and VSS8 installed. It displays the same dialog I get when I go into VSS8 and try to add a new source safe database. Is there possibly a registry GUID problem?

How do I fix this without uninstalling Visual SourceSafe?

I am running Vista Ultimate x64 with all updates on. Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, 8GIG Ram, 750 GIG and 1.5 TB drives.

    Thanks,
    Bruce
