Can anyone suggest some video MCU for OCS 2007 RRS feed

  • Polycom is currently your only other option.

  • the Polycom RMX can give you anything between 20 HD video to 80SD video clients or 400 audio only ports or any combination of the above
    you also get Hollywood squares video layout. if you need simpler video for up to 4-6 participants you can also use the built in MCU in the polycom HDX endpoints

  • Even though they have been acquired by Tandberg, the Codian MCU seems to be pretty good in this area and probably more scalable and supported.

     

    Actually the info I have from people at Tandberg is that this is one of the key reasons that Tandberg acquired Codian. I believe that most of Tandbergs development efforts going forward will be in the Codian MCU and not their own.

    The Roundtable is nothing more than a camera and conference phone that gets used with Communicator or Live Meeting on a PC, it is not an MCU.

  • Polycom and tandberg are good ones!.. you can try any one of them..
