  • Question

  • Good day,

I have recently passed the following exams:

    70-640, 70-642 and 70-643.

I am now aiming towards the 70-647 exam and what I see and understand on the MS certification site, I need to do the 70-680 and then 70-647. However, when I enquire with my local training partner, they say I need to do the 70-646 and 70-680 exams to be able to do the 70-647.

I don’t want to pay extra for something when I don't need to so I want to make sure what I need before I just dive right in to things here.

    Any advice appreciated.

  • You'll probably benefit more from earning the MCITP Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator.

  • You certainly dont need to do the 70-646.

But I think it would be a good idea as it will give you a MCITP: Server Administrator logo. (quick win)

You could then do the 70-680 and 70-647 exams to get your MCITP: Enterprise Administrator (then you'll have 2 MCITP's)
