HP MediaSmart doest update at all RRS feed

    Hi,

    My WHS can perform windows update itself, but can not update itself with HP Software update. The last update date of HP MediaSmart software updates is showing 2007/10/16. I believe there is another update since I see here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01509090&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&rule=12762&product=3548165 we have something version 1.3. I manually clicked "Check for updates" (as the page instructs) from Windwos Home Server Console, a few bars progressed but it ends suddenly, and the update does not seem to work. Could someone tell me how do I update HP MediaSmart? Thank you.

    It sounds like you have an issue with the HP portion of your server (not the MS portion).  You should contact HP for assistance.  (FYI, their solution will probably be to do a Server Recovery.)
