Excluding Hidden and System files via command line RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

This is probably an easy question but I dont see an example in the synctoy /?  or in the forums, granted its early and I still need more coffee...

I am trying to get a .bat file setup with all of my sync options and I am not sure how to exclude Hidden and System files via the command line.  I see it in the UI though.  Any ideas??

    Example??

    ,excluded=*.jpg;/H;/S

    Thank you,

  • I could not find the option from command line, so it's not possible to me.

  • You could create a folder pair in UI with system or hidden files excluded.

Then use SyncToyCmd.exe -R theSyncPair  to execute it from command line.
